Rob Bond has a very beautiful console. In fact, it’s very famous too. This desk’s former owner was the legendary Keith Grant of Olympic Studios fame.

Rob has fully refurbished the Raindirk (complete with Helios EQs) and chose to add 24 channels of FaderMate moving fader automation to top it off. Click on the video above to see the system in action.

Ali Chant is an engineer and producer working from The Playpen in Bristol, England. His long list of credits includes PJ Harvey, M. Ward and Perfume Genius.

Ali wanted to add FaderMate automation to his studio’s existing Malcolm Toft-designed centrepiece - a Trident TSM.
